Not sure if you can see well, but this is what gears look like after break in window. Gear oil was dirty and grey, but no metal pieces. Magnet had tiny(tiny)metal flakes but not alot. Do you see(if possible) any problems or does it look ok? Disregard the red grease as I was trying to check pattern and had no stuff to do so.

Kinda hard to tell without gear paint to see how the gears mesh /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif?

think it would be ok to use something else? say lotion or something? The red grease did not work.

I can't tell without the marking compound, but are these arrows showing the depth of the worn part of the ring gear?

some of the arrows you have are, but its not too deep. I think the depth is ok. I put cover back on(after a bling semi-gloss paint job) and filled up. I think I need to see some examples of what it should look like after a few hundred miles.
