That thing looks good!! That'll make for a sweet pull/travel rig. 
I'd keep the camper shell, being about to lock stuff up on the road would be nice. Have you had a chance to check the gear ratio, etc?

No. Sometime this week I hope to throw a couple batteries in it. I will run the vin this week as well. It is an old Eglin AFB truck. But has been civilian use for a while. I haven't even looked at the odometer yet.
Just fyi since *maybe* all USAF trucks are spec'd similarly, my old crew cab had 4.10's and open diff's. I know it's a gas vs diesel thing between them but you never know.
