She sure isn't as fancy as lots of your newer diesels, etc... but I like the price of mine ALOT better!!! She is a 1980 C30 Dually 454/TH400/D70 Camper Special 10,000 lb gross. Supposed to be original miles at 80K.

Yeah, I wasn't TOO concerned about 4x4... but I really wanted a crew cab. This was neigher, but the price was BEAUTIFUL so I grabbed it.

I also know where there is a 79 K30 Crew Cab 4x4 that has a little rust, no motor/tranny/case... but it is 1800 bucks as it sits (still has the 60 in the front)

Would that also be located in Washington? The wife and I will be driving up there in July......

I like your your truck. Nothing in the world can be more dependable and easier to work on than an old square bodied Chevrolet truck. The two wheel drive will handle better than a 4X4.

Here is a picture of my old square bodied Chevrolet duallie.

... I think the thing that I dislike the MOST about this truck is the ugly 1980 grill / headlights...

Our '76 Ranch pickup. New 454 and th400, old reliable as I like to call it.

Yup... the good ol' bias tow rig tires... Those things don't have ANY traction!!!! I already almost got stuck in my yard yesterday... Gonna have to find some radials for her one of these days... And I need a name for her too???

"Thunder hips"

If you do name her that dont put a decal with the name on the truck cause someone will cut part of the h off so it says "thunder lips" and you will look like a queer for a few days until you notice. Happened to a friend who is a hotshot driver...

how much did you end up paying for it, if i may ask?? I'm about to buy an early 80s 2 wheel drive, pretty much same setup as yours, just trying to get an idea of fair prices

u just get a chain when your ready to have snow-white drag "thunder lips" around duvall!!!!! Looks good man, now i have to put that BBC in mine...........

I actually traded my 1973 Dodge Siesta class C 19' motorhome for it. I was in the motorhome about 1500, and it came w/ a car dolly that I still have...
