most the guys here local I've seen trim the corners of the bumper and thats about all. Haven't really paid much attention otherwise

I was mainly looking for the 88-98 body style trucks, not the 73-87/91 but thanks any way, i have never read some of those links.

Im about to get 285/75/16s on our 98 Z71, if we need to trim out a tiny bit ill let you know.. iv bookmarked this thread. We would only be trimming part of the air dam and maybe the inner bits of the bottum of the fender. Depends on if it rubs at full steer or flex.. Getting tires next weekend unless we have to special order them. Whats your project? Good luck!

Im just trying to decide what i want to do with my 97 Z71, I just wanted to see what these trucks looked like with the fender trim. Btw my friend just put 285/75/16s on his 97 Z71, and his front tires rub just a tiny bit and i told to the corners of his front bumper off but he just took it off instead.

Well the torsion bars have been cranked up a tiny bit, and were adding rear add a leafs so hopefully that wont happen.. if it does ill pencil out exactly how much i need to cut and where at..and get to work.
