Is that supposed to offend me or prove something? Well it doesn't. Like many others nd probably including you, got into lifted 4x4's because your first thought was "hey that looks pretty damned cool" Regardless who would admit it or not.

Fine, put me in the same catagory as the H2 guy, I don't care. Like him I prefer to have something nice to drive and feel good when I take my lady out or cruise in, etc.... I am proud that mine isn't beaten and that I am not so deticated to beating the crap out of stuff that I have"beater" in my user name.

I still think it's rediculous to pick out people and make fun of something of theirs that they have spent their hard earned dollars on just because someone doesn't like it and to bring it back to his buddies so they can all giggle about it together. I don't care if you don't like something, but have some repsect and just keep your trap shut and "walk" or "click" on by.

CK5 is about building up trucks and helping people out with automotive problems, not making fun of things that some people don't like or understand. /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Why do all these threads turn out the same way? Someone makes a comment and RJF gets all bent out of shape about it taking it as a personal attack against chromed out big trucks... This site, no matter how much you want to think it's not, is mainly an off road site. People are going to make fun of big poser trucks like that, it's just what happens. If you don't want it to happen, go spend your time on fullsizechevy.com, I'm sure they would love you and you would love them, your probably already a member. That site is more into "looks" and "show" than this site, thats just the way it is.

85% of the people here like trail worthy trucks, not big chrome monster trucks. Also, everyone has a right to there opinion and the right to post it on this thread or any other thread. This is not kindergardenk5.com, we are not going to live by the golden rule of "if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all". The reason that truck was posted was to receive comments, don't get bent if you don't like them.

Perhaps you can take a bit of your own advice and just say "hey I like the truck" and thats it! Why start a big debate every fricken time? Your a mod, can't you ban yourself or something to keep you busy?

this happens on all posts with pics, rock guys don't get mudders. Mud runners don't get rock guys. stock guys don't get trimmed guys, and really don't get narrowed guys, k5ers don't get suburban guys, suburban guys don't care because were better, and off roaders just don't get posers and there lack of funtion rigs, and i amsure posers don't get why we would do to our truck swhat we do.

If you get down to ice of course you are screwed. But whipping down a road or driveway and floating is fine till you want to turn, then you are in someones lawn or ditch. Mud unless you've got a real sick rig you'd aim more for floatation. Don't remeber the last mud hole I had to worry about launching out of into someones front yard /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

when he said they would be good for snow because of flotation he meant deep snow not the stuff you find in town.

there is nothing better than a huge wide tire aired down to about 4 pounds in deep snow meaning more than a couple of foot deep. skinny tires would only dig you a hole to get stuck in.

but you probably meant snow that is around a foot deep or so im sure skinny tires would do good then /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
