Pics of a midlife crisis in progress

WOW! /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif They've got that thing torn apart!! Around here if you see a truck that looks like that it's on its way to being a truggy. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif When do you expect to have it back together? Any mods in store for it beyond the facelift and bumpers?

Seats from Silverado in front, rear facing third seat, new engine, 700r4 tranny, 2" lift, spray in bedliner for floor, Chrome under hood, lots of it, new wheels and tires, STC soft top, roll bar, dimming mirror with compass and thermometer, all new sheetmetal, all new interior panels
new stereo, dual batteries,KMA bumpers, mile marker winch and KC aux lighting, swithes hidden in ashtray
door.CB controls in mic /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif That's about it.

Oh , yeah, Fire engine red with white top and trim, new wheels and tires, new chrome trim and replaced all turn sig and marker lights and lenses. Then heading with family to the beach. I'd like to have it ready for the kids highschool homecoming parade, but it;ll probably be next summer. The spare time mode at the body shop is a whole lot more affordable. Hard to be patient sometimes.

Got the bumpers. Took about 6 weeks. That's them sitting in front of all the old body panels. They are slow, but the quality seems to be good. Wish I could find a shop that could lay chrome on all those right angles.

when I read mid life crisis I was expecting to see a new corvette in your driveway /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

to me that sounds like a dream and no crisis at all good job /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Grew up with go-fast cars, then go-fast sports cars (tuning multiple SU carbs is a b_tch.) But I have always wanted a 4WD convertible pick-up. This is as close as I could get and still take the kids, wife and dog along.

Will post additional pics when (if) the body shop gets closer to finished.
