Anybody got any pics of trucks with huge tires with very little lift they can send me or post? I'd also like to hear how they perform, clearance wise and all.

I'm a pretty big fan of big tires and short lift. Pics are in Fourwheeler this month! Mods were extensive......

I don't know why, but I get my mags later than everybody else around here. Did they have an article on this or something?

Both my trucks have 4" lift and 35s. The only pictures I have are of the Jimmy when it was rolled though.

I saw it at the grocery store today, but I hate to look at them before I get my own.

ive got 4" of lift and 36". Had to trim a bit, but got everything to fit nicley! I forgret what magizine it was in but there was a blazer w/ 4" and 39.5" swampers. Got great flex, but had no fenders, it still looked great thou.

scott,
1989 GMC suburban 3/4t 4" lift soon to be rollin on 36" swampers, tbi350, th350, np241

not much less. The UAV has at least 5.5" of lift and is running 37" ssr swampers. So with 36" tires and 4" lift it will probably be about the same. That is if you have the same amount of flex. You could always extend the bump stops to limit the cutting involved.

See Ya,

If we read his original question... he asks about huge tires. I dont really consider 33s or 35s huge tire. I am guess he is looking for soemthing closer to 40 inches maybe. I am also interested in this subject.

I saw a picture somewhere once of a short bed chevy with something like 40s and almost no lift. He had basically trimmed all the way past the door. In fact he even trimmed the door! No that is what I want to see.

Go to the home page of this site and look at the Blazer of the month for September. Best example of small lift with big tires that you will see.
