Re: Pic\'s of install of new 2.5\" exhaust

Hey nice!! I too need to have new pipes someday!
So tell me why the 'H' pipe? What does that do? I know I've seen them on the newer K5s hangin low by the front driveshaft and always thought ..why? Is it realy worth the hassle? Thanks

Yeah really, what excatly does that do. I have H pipes too. They were already installed, I just added a couple of flowmasters. Its gotta be some kind of equilibrium thing going on there.??

Re: Pic\'s of install of new 2.5\" exhaust

My understanding is that it helps equalize the pressure in both pipes and helps with low end tourque.I asked the shop who installed it if I really needed it and he said he wouldn't charge me extra to put it in and that it may help some with tourque so I said what-the-hell...put it in.Makes it sound cool too. That's the most important thing...isn't it!.
I'll bet Steve Chin knows...he knows everything!

Re: Pic\'s of install of new 2.5\" exhaust

Bobk is right. It does equalize the pressure (which makes it quieter inside), and does seem to increase low-end torque some.

Ahh Ok I like Low End Torque

Nice exhaust but I have another question. How does your winch work facing down?

A balanced diet is a beer in both hands.<a target="_blank" href=http://community.webshots.com/user/beaterwhang>community.webshots.com/user/beaterwhang</a>

Re: Pic\'s of install of new 2.5\" exhaust

The winch is actually tilted at an angle that allows the winch cable to go up and over the winch and through the bumper. The cable rides on the roller fairlead with no binding or rubbing on anything.
