wat kind of liner did u use?
Still preping mine..
If it look's as good that I will be happy!
preped it myself then took it to a local place, they said it is linex but they cant call it linex because they cant have more than one dealer within somany miles of each other
how much louder is it with the carpet gone ?
its louder than it is with the carpet in and the floor gets hot when you drive for a while but its not to bad doesent bother me
Did you do it yourself or have it done? What brand is it?
i had it done
I did mine myself....easy enough to do. Used Herc. on mine, still looks good, will do the bed sooner or later......
you could allways make some heat shield underneath that will help the heat.
I am going to do this when I do mine just so in the summer its not so hot if I still have the top on. with it off its not a big deal. I think I might even install DYNA-MAT and carpet the interior to help with the noise. I dont care if I have to change it out from time to time from getting dirty, I more just want the rust prevention.
I have Line-x on my K5 and really like it. I put Herculiner in my Jeep and I don't like it quite as much. The Line-X is more durable and looks more finished, but it's also much more slippery. There are pros and cons. Herculiner is more rubbery, so it gouges sometimes and gets dirtier, but stuff slips less. Personally, I pick Line-X. One of the best mods I did to the K5.
