I am swapping in a SM465/NP205 in place of my TH350/NP203 and was wondering if anyone had pics of where the clutch rod went through the floor and what the bracket looks like that the Z-bar bolts to on the frame. I have done the search and have found much useful info on this swap but cannot find this little tidbit of info. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I have a great pic at home of my once 4 speed floor , with measurements . Does you no good now . Could dig it up later .

is this going on a blazer? i heard the little oval thing in the front of the tranny hull is where the shifter would normally go. but im interested to see for sure because i will be doing this swap too.

It is going in my 78 Jimmy. I have looked at the install write up in the tech section but could not find any holes that the rod went through. Thanks for the info.

I asked this same question a while ago and got the same answer. I bought my truck with a manual and an auto cab, the PO just hacked the floor, its a huge gaping hole with sharp edges and sticking up in parts too. I would love to know what a stock truck floorboard looks like. I dont really think there is a way to seal it either.

If I find out, I will post pics for anyone else who is interested.

The bracket holes are already drilled in your frame. You gotta remove the rivets to get a used bracket off the frame, or you can buy a new one here...Item CTH 18

There's no hole for the rod. I just guessed, was way off, and the hole was really big by the time I was done.:doah:

Thats great! thanks alot. I will guess for the clutch rod location. This will help me along with the conversion.
