I know that this belongs on the first Gen board but a lot of you helped me out here before we had two boards. Got the Dana 60 from Brians60 and love it. 14 Bolt for rear with disk brakes. Best inprovement for the money for running big tires. other goodies too so heres some pic's of her. I call her my moneypit. Best money spent!!!!Thank's to all that helped me out

Re: Pic\'s of my Blazer

The Rim's are 16"x8" Allied Daytona from Les Schwab. BlazzinOR are you putting the detroit in the front. Thought that was hard on steering. I got one in the 14 Bolt of mine and waitting for the money for a ARB for the dana 60.

Where did you get that pumpkin guard at? I would like to get one like that when someday I find the axles I want!

Sweet looking rig man!! Nice axles too!!
I can't wait to put mine under this weekend (finally)

ChevyCalGal, His Diff guard is from 4xDoctor. You can get them at Toyboxoffroad.com (ask for Damon-good guy).

I got the ones from Challenger. It's a bit pricier, but was told was much beefier than the 4xdoctors. I didn't compare, so don't know for sureHere's a pic.

Re: Pic\'s of my Blazer

Save me the time (lazymon)..........what did the diff guard cost?

By the way, was the 8" rim width recommended for those tires or did you want rock protection versus a 10"?

And yes, a Detroit front and rear. Mostly this rig is built for SAND.....turning radius not generally an issue in the bowls! Wanted guaranteed traction now. ARB is also a good choice.

Re: Pic\'s of my Blazer

The diff guard cost me $71.00 with shipping and tax. List price is $64.95. Allready had got my diff guard when I ran across the one that Challenger offered. Will have to agree with Boss, I like Challenger's better. For rim size, I had a problem finding 16" rim's that were 10" wide in the style that I wanted and not give a arm and leg for. So I went with the 8" and they seem to protect the rim good. BlazzinOR I Understand now, why you have a detroit in front. Playing on the beach, got to love it!!!!

I like that guard too. Has more attachment points than the 4xdoctor one. Does Challenger have a website?
