Hey all, I'm just doin' some pic whorin' for my little brother. Here is his burban that he bought recently. He drove it here to Illinois from Virginia to visit. He'll be going back home shortly. It has a 6/3 lift and 36" Iroks. The Iroks ride smooth as ever, I couldn't believe how nice it rode. That's my old pile next to it in the first pic. I think it's a pretty nice 1st 4x4. :D

Yep, we live near a river and it floods here every winter. There are a bunch of geese out there all the time. I have some pics of my K20 in the flood water on my cardomain page, link in my sig.

looks great, my friends got a 98 burb w/ 6" and 35" goodyears on it, its a blast!

Nice but I love the truck. That's just me, a sucker for old chevy's. I will now hypnotize you - Give me your truck - give me your truck - give me your truck :eek1:.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I like my solid axle better for wheelin', but for a DD/occasional wheeler I kind of like the IFS (I'm a sissy like that  ).

whats under the hood/hoods?
His has a TBI 5.7 It has been built up some but we don't know exactly what has been done to it. It has a TBI spacer and headers and runs real good. The tranny is a 4 speed auto (700R4, 4L60?) and has some type of B&M controller with 3 switch positions to change the shift points. I think it has been re-geared also because the rpm at 65 MPH in OD is 2000, and the speedo is a bit faster than what the truck is actually going, which is opposite of the "stock gears/bigger tires/speedo too slow" syndrome.

My old pile has a worn out barely running rod knocking no oil pressure stock small block. It doesn't bother me though, it's still on the floor wide open in the mud! I have a fuel injected 5.0 HO that I may put in it, that should liven things up a bit.

X2.... Wicked!

So when's the 60/14 combo go under it?

He was already checking out one of my extra sets of 3/4 ton axles, but they are passenger side drop. So then he asks what t-case he needs. I told him it would be better to save up and buy a ford D60. A friend of mine just swapped a D60 under his '03 2500HD (only 29,xxx miles on the truck, I guess his warranty is void?) and runs 36" Iroks and complains that it rides rough and doesn't handle as well :surepal: And he thinks he will still pull a trailer as he always has! I stand 6' tall and the top of his bed rail is over my head! :yikes:
