Hey guys & gals, I finally got to post my pics for those of you who wanted to see. I have not yet finished the S&W cage but most of it is there already. I installed Corbeau Baja SS seats along with Simpson 5 point racing harnesses and some Coverlay door panels I got from Classic Industries.

My review of the seats is mixed but positive for the most part. FIrst let me say that the seats are comfortable for me but I wouldn't recommend them to someone who is overweight or over 6 feet tall (I'm a 1/4 inch under 6 ft and weigh 195 lbs). Also, I think the brackets are a bit high. I'm thinking about chopping about 2 inches off them. They have a little adjustment but not too much. I have adjusted them all I could for my height but they still sit too upright.

The Coverlay panels are great. I originally got them in light saddle but painted them black with SEM paint. I also painted my interior steel in Krylon Olive Drab. They are great fit. If any of you have any questions or would like to see more pics, ask away.

What is your wheel/tire setup? It's got a great stance and looks perfectly balanced with the rest of the truck. I initially thought Swampers, but the tread looks a little different. 15"x10" Wheels?

Sorry for all the questions....but I'm wheel/tire shopping right now!!!

Greg, Those are Radial Swampers, the tread pattern is a little tighter than the regular swampers, and they have the little sidewall "biters" . I like my radials, I just wish they made a 38x14.50r16. I have to get SSRs to go over 36" with the 16 inch rims.

Confederate: I was in the same boat that you are in. I bought the cage first and then the belts and then the seats. For the price of the seats, look at my previous post. Unless you are dead set on getting the Simpsons (94.00 from Summit), I would recommend either RCI belts or the ones Corbeau is now making. They just put some out that are much cheaper than the Simpsons. They are also very nice (and appear to be more practical for everyday use) and I think I would have liked those instead of the Simpsons but they came out too late. Check them out:

The basic 10 point roll cage from S&W came out to 199.95 but I also got the swing out side kit (34.95) and the 2 runners that extend to the back (39.95) along with some extra mounting plates. The shipping was a killer (146.11). The grand total for the cage was 387.46 delivered to my door. I have not yet finished the cage, though. But for all intents and purposes, I think I would have been okay with "just" the 10 point cage. Keep checking the S&W website because they go on sale pretty often (40.00 off).

Greg, Leland is right. Those are 36X12.50X15 Super Swamper Radials on 15X10 American Racing rock crawlers. These are my first Swampers so I have nothing to compare them to. However, here are my opinions:

They are a bit loud and you can feel the lugs (vibration). My rig is a pavement pounder (for now), and I drive it every day. I have had them for over a year and they still look pretty darn good for just being driven on the street. I got them from Tyres International. They were the cheapest for me AND they matched/beat their competitors prices. I can't remember how much I paid, but the shipping was a flat rate of 80.00 if I'm not mistaken. Not bad because these tires weigh a ton.

They'd look great on your truck.

By the way guys, if you DO call any one of the places I just mentioned, please tell them you heard about them on the COLORADOK5.com website. We got to spread the word about the site to these vendors.
