didnt you go with at least 2 trucks? i've learned to never go unless you have two trucks, and is it legal to 4 wheel by powerlines? /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

i've been to this place many many times and never had any trouble with this hole but i didn't realize that other trucks had dug out the ruts until it was too late /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

does your 4wd work? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Looks like the front end should have been able to pull you out of that pretty easily /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

actually I think my 4wd wasn't working, i don't know why, the guy that came to pull it out said the front tires weren't spinning at all, what could be wrong with it? the 4wd light on the dash was on.

Theres really not much that could be wrong. Either the case wasnt in 4wd or the hubs werent engaged. If something was broken you would have heard the grinding.

take off those autolocking crap hubs and throw on some manual lockign hubs, and never have another problem like that again. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I have you all beat....mines stuck in the driveway!!!

I just pulled out a Bronco II that was as deep as your pic there Grimmy. He couldn't get in the drivers side because the mud was about 8" higher than the bottom of the door. Two yanks and he was out, the second yank I had about 8 feet of slack and dragged him out backwards and sideways without too much effort.

Wheeling alone sucks...

I'd have to agree andy , s*#t can those hubs and get some warn standards at least!!! tarheel actually has pretty competitive prices on those!! If ya ever need a tug , I live by the speedway , and would help you out in a pinch , wreckers cost ALOT , I know!!!!!! Later........CC /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

question: why were you driving through those nasty cant-see-the-bottom ruts? lol!!! looks like there were much easier ways to get down that road...

j

It ain't about the easy way. If it was we'd all be driving on the road! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
