I must say, that was one bad ass Suburban. D60 front, D70 rear, 4.88's, dual ARB's, ORD doubler, cross over steering, 38" Swamper radials, 6.5 turbo diesel...Even had a GPS system inside.
One thing I learned this weekend is that I am sick and tired of open diffs. /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif So next weekend, I'm welding the 14b. No more of that open $hit. Also, I learned that bead locks would have been a good thing....Climbing that one hill, a rock busted the valve stem of my rim, tire went flat in about 10 seconds....and I was on a pretty bad ass hill too...While tryin to back down, I got turned alittle sideways on the hill, ended up peelin the tire off the frickin rim. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif Had to anchor my truck with a winch from the top of the hill, use a high lift under the bumper, a floor jack under the diff, a shovel to dig a hole under the tire so I could get it out and the new one in.....lol.........All in all about 2 hours to change a tire. So this weekend was a definate learing experience for me...
