***PICS*** Playing in the Illinois mud!

I went out and played today in some of the mud that was left for Illinois after we had 6"+ of rainfall in the last few days... I made a little video clip... just call me BORREGOK5-wanna-be!

Carnage! I managed to bust something on my truck!!! Lets just hope I can continue to be so lucky! BROKEN MIRROR /forums/images/icons/blush.gif I drove close to a bush that had a trimmed back tree branch hiding inside. All I heard was SMACK! Didn't even notice until I got to the gas station afterwards! /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

you can run pvc and some flex pipe through the fender... that is what I am gonna do once my truck is on the road...

put a prefilter on it to block the big chunks and call it done
or
get a stock style dual snorkle housing
I have yet to see a nice PVC job
if you must, and please dont, go to a muffler shop and have them bend light tubing up for the job

Not so sure about that myself... I'm not sure I like the "BIG-ASS-PVC-HANGIN-OFF-THE-FENDER" look. I was hoping for something a little more "publicly acceptible." I have seen a couple of nice setups... but I don't think PVC is my preferred method. Molded plastic, or something that routes into the cab. The ARB kit might be okay, but I didn't like the looks of the price tag...

Unfortunately not. Have heard some great things about the badlands. I guess I should just get my @$$ in gear, and start working on the Crew Cab conversion to 4wd. Doesn't look like I will get much wheeling in /forums/images/icons/mad.gif Summer is the busy time @ work, plus the wife always seems to have other plans for my time. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif
