Pics wanted- 33x12.50s with 4\" lift

For some reason I can't get into the gallery to view pics? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif I guess I've been a bad boy......

Anyhow, can some of the Brotherhood provide me with some pics of 33s under a 4" lift? I'm going that route and would like some visual feedback.

One other thing- I've been told that tires can look different based on whether they're mounted on 8" or 10" inch rims. Would you mind adding your rim width/backspace specs as well?

Thanks, lads!!! /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

So you got a total of 5 inches? maybe its the pic but i could swear ive got more clearance than you. But then no 2 lifts are the same.

yup, 5" in the rear. TC ez-ride springs, maybe the weight of all that roof rack crap plus the fact that my truck has a little lean to the right... /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Paul, here is a pic taken about 6 months after I bought my Jimmy. (~July 97)

4" lift, 33" BFG MT's on 15x10 rims. 2.73:1 gears and a SM465/208.

Why not just shove some 35's in there? It should fit with a tiny amount of fender trim. I trimmed out just the back bottom corner of the front fenders where it extended inside of the fender wells. Nobody can tell it's not factory.

I have to admit that I haven't gotten into any "super stuffed" situations, but I've probably bounced around enough that I'd see some bending someplace if it was hitting. The only place it's hit is on the inside of the rear wheel well with the 14" wide tires I had before.

I gotta get those 1" zero rates though... looks saggy in the back. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

15x8 rims by the way. 35x12 tires.

Re: Pics wanted- 33x12.50s with 4\" lift

You gotta watch the saggy back look. Sometimes its not really sagging... the rear wheelwell isnt cut as high as the front. It causes things to look sagged out, but the truck actually sits level. Then you start adding lift to the rear, and by the time you get the rear wheelwell even with the front, you are driving looking at the ground! /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
Ummm not talkin from experience or anything! /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

That yellow looks HOT, brother!!!! The 35s look really good except:

1. I don't have the option to trim because I am not allowed to remove the running boards presently on the truck. Let's just say the boss has spoken..... /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

2. 35s would probably warrant regearing and I don't have the cash for that right now. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
