Could someone post of picture of how and where their cruise control servo is located and mounted on a 1987 5.7l? The servo and servo mount has been removed and is sitting on top of my master cylinder. I'm not entirely sure where and how it is mounted and how it is hooked up. Always fun when you buy someone's unfinished project. I'd ask the previous owner, but he's no longer among the living. Thanks!!

No, an 87 has the vacuum actuator mounted on the intake manifold. I might be able to snap a pic of this today.

My 85 and my 90 5.7 were mounted to the back of the driver side head.

Yeah maybe it was a bracket on the back of the head. But basically it sat inline with the existing throttle cable over the intake manifold.

Thanks everyone. Ya, the 88 is definetely not the same.it looks like it mounts behinde the throttle body, just not sure where. Its a small vaccum servor and I think it links directly to the throttle linkage. No cable just a small rod. Which of course, I am missing.

Thanks everyone for your help. I finally figured it out. On my 87 Jimmy it mounts to the back of the engine and then there are two small bolts that mount it to the throttle cable bracket
