Keeps the ground wire from gettin all gunked up i imagine. Protects it from the elements...??Why? It's for ground... not making fun, just curious if you have an alternative application.

see it'd help keeping the oil out tooeh, I guess I get too much oil getting slung around my engine compartments

J/K brother.and you should have.A braid has lower inductance (i.e. less ignition noise in your radio) for the same amount of copper and will flex better than battery cable - meaning longer life.
Sorry if nobody thought the picture was relevant. I didn't even dig one up with the valve covers, distributor or cold air intake installed.![]()
