Check this. 1973 Blazer ads. I have not Photoshopped them :D . Same color as yours, they advertise it with black rims and with white. I thought about doing mine in black but then decided not to. Maybe one day when they need refinishing I'll go black instead.

the black doent look bad i will most likely paint em' white
That's exactly what I thought when I was refinishing mine. Maybe I'll get tired of the white after I run them for awhile. But right now I prefer white. Cool to know they also came stock in black though. :)

John here's the link to the GM trucks part of the website. There's way more stuff about several different makes and models if you go back out to the home page. It'll keep you busy for awhile!

Enjoy!:D

Awesome! I'm here at work to day and I'm thinking of loading the high gloss paper in our large format printers:wink1:

I bought them tires and all for 50 bucks per wheel/tire. It was more than they're worth but I had trouble contacting the guy who had them on his Blazer since they weren't for sale. I pretty much had to dangle the $200 out there just to get him to call me back. It worked and I'm happy. He ended up putting Rallys on his Blazer...

that seems pretty fair.
rally wheels with no tire in a junkyard here are $50 a peice

there is a guy a couple of block down from me,who has a set of those wheels. i was thinking about knocking on his door and see if he will sell.they are on his plow truck.

I'd do it. It took me ten years to find the set I have now. They're virtually impossible to find anymore. Get something worked out with him for sure.

i am pretty sure that there 8 inches wide he has a 10.50 wide tire so.

i am going to wait till later in the summer and see if he still has them. i am get low on money:mad:

Well if that deal doesn't work out, here's the link to the Stockton wheel page where they show the 20 series wheel which is the wheel you would want and they could always custom-build it. If you ever need specs off my wheels just let me know.

http://www.stocktonwheel.com/oem_wheels.htm

If I ever find myself owning a 3/4 or 1-ton GM truck I'd have a series 20 wheel made in an 8-lug 16x9 and get the larger dog dishes in the same style I have now. That would look awesome.

Here's a picture of a '74 3/4-ton Chevy truck that was for sale on eBay a few months ago that has the larger caps. It was an untouched survivor with less than 9K on the ticker. It was owned and bought new by an Illinois fire department. I think the rims on it are 16x8s. That's close to what I'd want (just meatier tires). Maybe I'll Photoshop it later...

that reminds me i need some more aggressive tires

but mine are still like new they got just under 7000 miles on them(i think)

i remember seeing that truck
