Pictures from my latest trip to Dunes in Baja

These pictures are taken a in the Dunes close to San Luis Rio Colorado which is about an hour from Calexico/Mexicali. You can drive all the way from there to the Golf Coast, it's a huge area, I almost felt like I was in the Paris Dakar rally

awsome, been thinking about a trip to the baja beach. i really want to do some scuba diving there. also have heard it is a cool drive. tring to get all the bugs worked outta the truck so it will be travel worthy down there

For a Blazer I would recommned minimum a 4"lift, rear locker and 33" tires to feel comfortable. Also, don't go alone, if you get stuck or break down it could be a while before somebody comes by.
It's a cool place, I recommend it.

im good in that area, just need company and a few bugs worked out :D

what ya doin in jan/feb time Frame :haha:

Actually we are planning another trip in February, I will post it here when we get to January, if someone wants to go they are welcome.

Well as you can tell from the pictures it's actually not that heavy anymore since I took off the top, doors, tailgate, bumpers, interior is stripped and I have the super lightweight high dollar aluminum drivetrain(350 tranny with NP208) :D

Besides that I run only about 6 psi in my tires, I have 35/1250 BFG's mounted on narrow stock steel wheels and so far I have not had any trouble with loosing a bead, I just try to not turn too hard at high speed.

By the way,I sold the Blazer that is described in my signature if you wonder why it doesn't match what I just wrote above.
