I’ve always liked the look of almost any type of DRW truck and thought it would be cool to have a place to collect these truck pics - most of these are just off the internet and some from in person.

Please post up ANY DRW truck no matter how pretty or down right butt-ugly - all are welcome !
Extra points if they are 4WD.

I drove a ‘78 Chevy 4WD wrecker while turning wrenches from ‘89~’94 and loved driving it - the added driver finesse and skill ya’ acquire while driving a tow truck truck in TIGHT spaces-n-places is amazing.
Especially while off road with another truck in tow in granny-low just chugg’n and lugg’n try’n to keep traction and not dig down in the soft sand and/or mud.

Let’s see them wreckers & tow trucks !

BONUS : Four of these tow trucks were used in movies and/or TV shows - which ones are these and what’s the movie/TV shows?

Very NICE - details on the running gear ?
From what I’ve read on all your threads you don’t leave much of anything stock.
This one was many years ago before I really started messing with it. 454/400/205 60/70 3.73.
It was the first truck with the intention of getting a 5.9 swapped in. This is from 2009 or so and I bought a 94 dodge donor for 2500 bucks and it was too good of a truck to tear down.

Here’s when my father in law had his 88 dually flatbed down at the coast with us. That was a tbi454/nv4500/205

Ohh damn - that’s a nice truck!
Maybe they will see this and tell us what happened - I hope it was salvageable.

Iirc, there’s a build thread with details. I believe cab and front clip were badly damaged and the guy was building another truck from the salvageable parts.

@tarussell it was @SpeedlabDan truck, here’s his build thread (long)
