Especially with a big-ole Dana 80 hiding under them big hips out back.
Always loved a single cab 4x4 dually. Might go that route with my '72. Especially the skinny c&c rear axle.

Sure, I almost bought it.
I sold him the engine, transmission and rear c& c axle he put in it.
By all means someone find a picture of this truck and add it here with the others.
I just looked and all pictures in his posts are gone. He left here a good while ago. Picture a C30 crewcab with a cab and chassis rear and duals not sticking out of the fenders. I believe he tubbed the rear wheel wells.
@SpeedlabDan is still active on instagram but not many pics of the dually rebuild. There’s a couple of pics from earlier this year but they aren’t “complete” pics, this is from a year ago and gives a good overall look at the truck.

Yes, same truck. My dad patched it up in the 90s with different fenders and doors and painted it blue. The current flatbed was swapped on at some point around 2001 or so.

Take a walk back in time with me fellas and recall some of the best commercial pics ever put on television ( some are a little blurry because I was taking them from the video to get the best shots for our viewing pleasure ).
In addition to the awesomeness of these trucks gett’n it while being put on film the background music was one of the best songs that was ever sing’d sang or sung by ole Bob Segar - “Like a Rock” !
They just don’t make commercials this good anymore…so sad…
BTW, one of them is from a movie - added bonus points for naming the movie!
