Forgot a Ford SD at the boat ramp the other day.
I have an original and complete decal kit to build a tribute truck. just need to find the right truck again...
Spotted these two old big-boy Fords today resting on the job site.
Ones a bump-side and the other a dent-side F-600/700 and they are relocating an old house on some waterfront property.

I DO NOT like the wheels on the SD but I certainly like the truck!
It’s hard to tell from the front view of the red Chevy that it’s a K-30 and not a C-30.
I had the same problem with my ‘83 K-3500 - in stock form it looked like a 2WD because the front end sat so low.

This F-600 was bought new for a Pecan Farm back in 1977 and is still in amazingly great shape - take a gander at the interior; not bad for forty-nine years of use !

This wrecker has been sitting on that ramp for at least 30 years. I think longer than that.
I know it's been there since before my oldest was born and he'll be 31 this year lol
It appears to be a 90s model... Not sure if they had an older one like it that used to sit there, or not.

That’s ‘92~’98 front sheet metal ( and plastic ) work so they may have traded an older truck out at some point - or they parked a nearly new truck on that ramp 30 yrs ago.
That sheet metal is what throws me off. There had to be an older one at some point.
That's in an off beat alley that I frequented in my teen years. And it was always up there lol.

Place has been closed down now for years. So it's just standing proud basically abandoned.

You can swap the '92-'97 front clip onto the '87-'91 trucks.
