i read this thread when i got home and cryed myself to sleep, it just dosent seem real,
this is how it went from my view if there is some differences please fill them in, kyle andrew and i went for a swim to the island about 20 yards off shore, kevin then nate and daren ryan came out and we were hanging out refreashing from all the dirt, the two jasons where starting to wade in and were razzing them about not going past there knees because of the cold water, we were on the island just off the shore standing on the rocks talking when i saw the two jasons start to swim out, i watched as they were coming out they turned around headed back to shore i noticed it looked like they were having trouble i saw jason go down and come back up got some air and went under, i think we all took off swiming at the same time as we got over there i think we all were about shoulder to shoulder looking for him i herd dogman yelling air dive there, just then i saw jason under me, i went down about a foot but i did have any air left as i came back up to get air i saw andrew go down and grab him as they were coming up i thin a few of us grabed him got his head out of the water, we got him to a rock out of the water first thing i could think was to get a breath into him we started cpr right there on the rock them got him onto the shore where we kept getting water out of him and doing cpr, we relized we needed help so we got phones and radios but no one had signal, kevin took his rig to the dam where there was some workers from smud they called in help on there sat phone and kevin bought them back with medical bag, we tried the defibulater but it would not administer a shock because his condition was not right for it, ryan and andrew kept wit the crp almost the whole time till the chopper and para meds arived they went to work on jason, they did what they were trained to do and got jay on the chopper, i think we were all praying as that chopper left. that was the longest day of my life, i will miss jayson with all of my heart for the rest of my life, you are gone but will not be forgotten
