Pictures of rigs with stock steel wheels and hub caps.

What can I say I grew up in the 90's in AZ, everyone had billet grills back then

They also had pink windshield wipers, chrome gas filler doors and everyone wore Z Cavaricci puffy pants!!! :haha:

Billet is one of those fads that did not stand the test of time....

True, but they are still pretty common out west. I don't think I'm unique by rocking something that was popular as a youngin even if it's not so popular with today's generation. There's quite a few people on here with stuff on their trucks that I would consider out of style like fender flares, windshield visors, euro tail lights, or flat black everything, but the point is to make it your own and create your vision of what the truck should look like. To be honest the older I get, the more I appreciate more original looking trucks and like I said earlier, I'll probably go back to the original grill eventually. At least it's a simple bolt on and not grafted in ground effects lol

no hubcaps, but these are stock rallies (repainted) with the original trim rings and centerposts on my 83:

They went on as a necessity after I cracked an aluminum rim. I'm glad it happened, they look way better.

This was my 84 K5:

Factory 16" wheels I welded Ruffstuff beadlocks on, painted the wheels & hubcaps black.

I think my '82 K25000 is the only truck I've owned that had 4 "correct" hub caps on it ,on stock steelies..most had aluminum mags of some kind,or stock rally wheels..

Oh wait...I forgot,my '71 GMC K1500 had hub caps,steel rims,so did the '71 K5 CST I had...(not sure if those were "correct" though)..1971 GMC K1500 4x4 002.jpg 1971 K5 CST Blazer.jpg 1982 GMC K2500 4x4 6.2 diesel 002.jpg

I forget how good our trucks look with factory steelies...
