It has has backpacks because it's a Blurb (Blazer - Suburban). I have seating for 5 kids in the back and it doesn't leave room for much gear. They are called Trasharoo's and they are great for storing gear and trash outside. One of the best $90 bucks I have spent ($45 ea).

Yesterday, punching into a favorite shooting spot...

The 'Burb got the honor of punching it up first as it's got fresh Dura-Tracs, and we figured the wheelbase would help. :D Snow was some serious blown-in/melted/blown-in/re-melted Front Range cement.

A slight commercial break from the snow pics for a second…. My buddies and I all run Trasheroo’s as well. Every responsible wheeler should have one as they are very useful. It is a great tool to carry firewood, etc to the boonies and carry your garbage and more importantly, all garbage you find along the trail back home. Trasheroo’s are very well constructed and the people behind the company are great real world off-roaders just like us. You cannot buy are more useful well built tool for $45. Buy one today! :waytogo:

Not sure how you embed Youtubers here but here is a GoPro from our last snow trip with a gaggle of Jeeps. The Jeeps cheated and took the high road around the deep stuff. The conditions where just right were the old 8,000 lb GM rig out powered and outperformed the lighter rigs in the snow this day being I was able to dig down to terra-firma. Nothing like passing Jeeps in over 2 feet of snow! Hehe Probably much deeper and I would have been an anchor while they floated along the top.

All that banging around you hear in this video turned out to be the oil pan smacking the engine cross-member. Stupid Napa engine mounts totally caved in! I’ve since replaced those with Energy Suspension engine mount inserts. Problem solved.

Kinda boring snow video but this hill was in the trees and very icy and slick. I was the last one up.

This one is a few years old when the truck was still running a Delphi MEFI-4 RamJet 502 ECM on the 8.1L. You can hear the calibrations were not right as it ran out of steam under high MAP load. I've since replaced the RamJet 502 engine management system with a P59 ECM running a severly tweeked 8.1L Silverado calibration.
