Im a little confused as to how to get the correct pinion angle when it comes to doing an axle swap. I am doing a 14b and d60 swap and I have no idea about pinion angles with the drive shaft and transfercase and all that fun stuff. Can somebody pleeeeaase explain to me how to correctly measure the angles and what I should actually have the angles at? (too much angle, not enought..)
I have new perches for it from DIY4X also.
Oh and any ideas on where I can find a shock only kit for 5 inches of lift? I have factory quad shocks up front and having difficulty ordering off of 4 wheel parts

Do a search under "titles only" and try different combinations of words like "pinion angle" and such. Pinion angle discussions are very lengthy and don't help other than to confuse. You need pictures and some kind of write up. Check some of the driveline websites, most of them have a tutorial about it.

As far as the shocks go, you wont find a 5" kit. It will be something like 4-6" kit. Put the axles on and go flex it, measure what you find and order accordingly. Or just call 4wheelparts and ask.

That should get you started on the basics for driveshaft angle measuring. You will need an angle finder.

For shocks I would just get everything done and then measure what you need for extended and compressed lengths. Much better to buy them that way so they are the correct length for your suspensions travel.

Oh and ditch the shorter of the quad shocks up front and just run the longer positioned one. Save ya some $$ and if you get a decent set of shocks they should do ya just fine.
