OK the date is set to run the dunes!
Aug. 4th 5th 6th,wheelin,camping,campfire,bevrages,food and whatever else. Oh you could even go surf fishing. All are welcome, this is not a formal deal just a friendly get together to put some faces with the names, share some stories and gather ideas off eachothers rigs!
CB channel 4 for the 4th,easy to remember that way.

i dropped a hint to the wife the other day, and she sounded like she'd go for it. she'll definitely stay in a motel, though. camping on the beach tends to get real gritty. especially with a couple of kids. actually, they may still be with grandpa in oregon then. that would loosen things up. i'll have to check that.
when would you go on friday? most weekend ventures, i try to take that day off, and travel in the late morning. that way you're all set by the time the crowds get there friday night.
oh, and i'm not allowed to break my truck, OK?

hahaha, OK we won't break it!
I am taking the day off and my son and I will most likly be heading out right before noon or so, i'm fleaxble.
I am going to remove the back seat and toss down an air mattress to get outa the sand. Or just bring allot of tarps and a broom that works well for keeping the sand outa your sleeping area. There are/is a camping area on dirt right before the first beach ramp.

leave the rear seat in for the trip. pull it out when you get there, and use it for a camp chair.

Well I have to cancel my trip to Pismo

My pops is commin to town for that week/weekend from S.Corolina and it's been almost a year sence I've seen him so leaving town isn't an option for me!

YEEEHAAAA, I'm back in pops is leaving Sat. morning on the 5th so I will be there late Sat. afternoon.
THe first gen gang is camping near pole 5 as you drive down the beach! ALL, ALL are welcome!!
Should be fun running the dunes and campfire stories!!!!!

Oh ya cannel 5 on the CB will be the cannel we are using!!

Wish I could go with you guys ,I'm from that area and use to go out their all the time grear place to go. I live in Tampa FL now and this place blows.
