I have two trailers, need a tow rig.
You guys got me all excited. I didn't read the thread close enough and look at the dates. I thought they were selling them at 50% off again. I wonder if they will do that again?
Unlikely, the response was so great that they ended the sale at 5pm instead of midnight (lots of unhappy folks). I read some of the orders may have a 1-2 month backorder.

Yeah, I'm 99.99% sure they will never do that again...they were overloaded with orders that day (don't ever tell rednecks they can have 50% off of redneck items, haha).
My brother and I are thinking maybe sometime in January we will get the tires...luckily we are not in any hurry to get them...although I'm excited to see them on my rig and see how they perform...I guess @blazinzuk can let me know since he has them!!
Almost all of my friends picked up sets of 42s. I almost pulled the trigger on some for snow tires.

yeah, that was our thought too....it's not like my brother and I needed tires at all (my 44's I bought last year, and my brother just picked up a set of 47" LTB's), but the price was so freaking good, and PBR's really are a great all around tire, we said screw it and bought some. Will be nice to have an extra set of 44" boggers laying around that both of us can use for one reason or another...so I guess we have that going for us now

I 100% agree...I feel like the 47" growler is like a large all terrain....never made sense why they didn't make the 47" in a bias rocker...would be a bitchin tire for sure
Shipping killed the deal for me $200 to ship
for 35's they wanted $50 per tire which brought it to 1K figured I would get tires I actually wanted for that price.

So thought I'd just throw this out there. I'm looking to buy some 42/15/16.5 bias Rockers. If someone happened to buy some during the big sale and is now having buyers remorse maybe we could strike up a deal? Probably a long shot, but I figured that maybe I could help a brother out and maybe get a little bit of a deal myself.
Most of us haven't even received our 50% off deal tires yet...I'm still waiting for my 42's to show up. Did just get an email yesterday from pitbull saying they are still working through the orders as fast as they can....so hopefully sometime soon they will ship ours.
I know there were a lot of people who bought multiple sets of tires during this deal because it was so good, so you might get lucky that someone has another set sitting they could sell you on a good deal, but I imagine everyone is going to hold on to them. Heck, even if I don't mount mine for a year it won't bother me...I'm glad we jumped on it when we did, haha.
How many tires were you buying? At $50 a tire, even at $200 shipping...that's a lot of tires. for 4 42x15x16.5 tires on this deal shipped to me was just over $1300....when I was looking at these tires almost 2 years ago before I bought my 44's, I was getting quoted over $2500 not including shipping....hence why even though I didn't need to get these, I sucked it up and got them anyways cause this deal was too good to pass up!!!

I've been wanting to try out the Pitbulls for several years now but the combination of expense and quick wear has always put me buying more practical tires. The 50% off deal gave me a great excuse to try them though!!!! I ordered a set of (5) 37x12.50R17 XOR LT Rocker Radials. I priced out a set of 41x13.50R17 but, then I wussed out since the 37s will fit with no more mods (running 37x12.50R17 Nitto Trail Grapplers now) versus I would have to do a LOT of further modification to run 41s. Definitely looking forward to having my 37s come in! (my order was probably one of the absolute last they got so, it'll likely be a while but, I am 100% cool with that though since I won't mount them up until my Nittos are bald) Hoping the Nittos will last until October and I will just keep the Pitbulls in the garage until then. I'm contemplating buying a second set of wheels to mount the Pitbulls on so that I can just swap them out for wheeling weekends and not wear them out driving every day BUT, I haven't suggested that expenditure to my wife yet so.... IDK how well that's going to go!
