Hey guys,
I'm still getting around to rebuilding the front end on my '95 Yukon. I took it into the shop and found that all I really need to replace right now are the pitman and idler arms. I'll save the rest for next summer and nicer weather!
Now the question:
Can I use a standard pitman arm puller and do the job in the truck. The local places rent the tool pretty cheap. Otherwise I've been looking at this special OTC puller that claims I can do the job on the truck without pulling the box out. (Still have to release it from the 3 frame bolts)
I'd like to hear that I can do it on the truck witn a normal Autozone cheapy loaner puller. If not, I want to get the specific one ordered now so I'll have it in time.
Thanks,
-Ben
