I have pulled a bunch with the harbor freight one. Its cheap and good enough to get it done. You can loan it out for beers later too.

2wd = puller

4wd = no puller its a pinch bolt . then hammer to tap it off past the dirt and rust .

this infor only works on older solid axle trucks as ifs 2wd or 4wd = puller for both .

well let me also add that if i recall the ifs 4wd you need to unbolt the box and swing it up and around a little to get a std puller on it . they do offer a low profile puller tho but lots of places dont stock it . the low pro puller no box unbolt .
