got a buddy with a YJ that's just about done with his 350/465/205 and full width d44/14 bolt swap. he's wanting to run a chevy steering box and hi-steer with heim joints. i think he's already got a 94ish 2wd steering box. will that work or should he go with a 73-87 2wd box? and what pitman should he run with that box so he can drill out to run heims?

i believe the ifs trucks have the steering box inside the frame.
so where he needs to mount it will tell what box he needs. there is no diference that im aware of other than that.
