My brother and I went out to go shooting after work today. Stopped by a local county yard (no fences, signs, nothing) where they have a bunch of mil surplus stuff. We were poking around and discovered a bunch of different michelin military tires. Andy will prolly post pix later. We're going to try to get our grubby mitts on some. :D Impossible to find now due to the war I guess. If we can get a bunch, anyone want some?

Also ran into a little storm/flooding. Had a blast. He should have some pix of that up too.

They're rated fer like 4000 lbs each...steel belts in the sidewalls...uber-beefy. :D

IF we can get some....we hear the county guy is a poop. but it's all sitting out there unguarded or protected going to pot. CUCVS getting vandalized etc. Spending my tax money to buy stuff and waste it.

Where in tex? I lived in Midland for a year, met wifey there.

Yah...it sucked. Some small sand dunes and a mudhole. About it as far as wheeling. Or anything else.

My friends dad has an 81 Burb with 36's on stock suspension..this thing is a total hunk of crap, and the sticker on the side? "Hummerburban" :D

Yah that Nissan Pathfinder is the dirty whore that wont die. Its seen more airtime than the Blue Angels and been flat out run into alot more **** than it should. In place of the camper shell, now they have the hood from a jeep cherokee supported in the front by two crutch legs and screwed onto the back with a few sheetmetal screws.

I gotta see that thing next time I'm down in Kingsville. I'd LMAO at that thing. :haha:

cegusman, we have a place here in Houston and Warton that sells military tires. I have seen the 36's, 37's, and the 16x1100 tires and this was just week. You just have to pick through them to get a good pair, and they are between $50-$150 depending on the tire. So if you are interested let me know, or you can get my # from robert.
