this is a members truck (boggerless)

The front clip and front two body mounts are exactly the same between the pickup cab and K5. All you need to do is put in a crossmember for the rear two cab mounts and I believe you can do that with a factory crossmember.

the factory mount is about 3 to 4 inches behind the pick up cab mounts, we welded plates on the factory mounts. and then welded 2 inch square channel to it.

thx

no just a plate welded to the origianal mount.look at BIG83CHEVY4x4,s post about boggerless truck and look at the third pic(i think) and you'll see the plate and support.:)

73-87 all the same except the back crossmember. old style sit 1 inch lower. and each era need the body mounts for that style frame.

could i reuse my old ones?
i was lookin at it and it seems all i have to do is flip:grind: them around on the insid of the frame and put/:weld: on a sort of body lift.:woot:

the old frames had small holes and the new frames had big hole. just match the frame to the mounts and go!!! if like most everybodys old wornout stuff buy new and if bodylift is going in then get 1 it will come with new longer bolts and save you some hassle

PM supersize75k5 , I almost went that route , and there was a nicer one out where his 1st gen lives . BTW , how about some pics of the Blazer , are the floors trashed , it could be a full convertible truggy if the floors are good :k5: :k5:
