Where else can I mount my CB antenna ball? Right now it resides on the drivers side near the tail light. The only way to work on it is to squeeze your hand into the smallest place and try to tighten up the huge nut and attach the wire to the ball and on and on and on.

Basicly the ball ends up spinning when I have the antenna on and I'm slidding against trees and bushes. Where else have you guys attached them....PS I don't want to use a magnetic antenna but if that is the only way well..........

beligerence doesn't justify intelligence.

Go to just about any truck stop and either mount on your mirrors, or get a bumper mount.

My hotrod goes anywhere I want it to.

I run dual K40's (3footers)mounted on both mirrors...like it

I have a mag mount on the cab roof, cable routed down the rain gutter and in through the drivers door.
I've a firestick on the rear bumper with a short piece of innertube, cut into a strip, tied to a tiny eye screwed into the top, this is to stop the antenna bending wayyyy back with the wind as I drive along, it bends forward when I'm parked, but sits perfectly straight up and down when I'm driving, I routed the cable in through the tailgate.

Well I thought of the mag. on the roof. (last resort)
I have thought of using my bros. "Wip Rod" style antenna.

I had mine mounted the same way. (dual 3 foot antenna on the mirrors) I just tucked my mirros in and had no problems except for when I rolled. So now I have no antenas.
