I was just thinking about my truck(whats new?) and I'm going to change tranny oil/engine oil/t-case oil/diff oil this spring. I don't know when it was done last because I just bought the truck this fall so I'm going to do it. I was just wondering if there was a filter in the tranny. I'm pretty sure there would have to be because of all the metal shavings swimming around in there....LMK

What are your plans for spring?

Assuming it's an automatic, yes there is a filter in the pan...you have to drop the pan to replace the filter...

Hmmm what does it looks like? I guess should have paid attention when I took the pan off last time... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
