planning to buy 72 blazer..help me out.....

well the big thing you need to look at is what you want to do with the vehicle. Are you gonna wheel it hard? Then you need lockers. Do you have a lead foot? With 38" tires you will want 1-ton running gear. Can you do the work yourself or will you have to pay a mechanic?

The more you will have to modify it the less it is worth. Sure a good body goes a long way but you dont want to put in $5000 in the purchase and then $1500 for axles, $700 in gears and another grand in lockers... or maybe you do.

I think you will do much better to get a truck from someone who is getting out of this addiction. Then again that may mean it's all worn out /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

After seeing the pics - you did say daily driver? - your only vehicle? -- if so, I'd recommend taking it for a nice long test drive - go to the supermarket, find a parking place, take a few highway on/off ramps - try to drive it in situations you'll be in daily - if its a pain on this comprehensive test drive pass and find a closer to stock truck --- if it all works out good, and you don't accidentally run over any micro imports (and maybe if you do)-- buy that puppy and have a blast.
