Plasma Cutter for under $600??

Is there such thing as a decent plasma cutter for under $600?? I probly wouldnt be cutting anything thicker than a frame, so 3/8 inch cutting would do fine. Ive just been looking on E-bay and at Harbor freight's junk.

I think you may be out of luck. My Lincoln Pro-Cut 25 claims it can do 3/8", BUT, it needs to be hooked to 240v. It only cuts up to 1/8" easily without going to 240v, it struggles on 1/4", and it cost much more than $600

You really need a good 240v to cut 3/8", and a good, high powered compressor that can supply constant CFM's

we had a $600-$700 plasma torch at work but it had to be moved fairly slowly to cut 1/8"

might want to try looking for a used setup. A friend of mine got one for a steal, no pun intended
