What's a good 110V plasma cutter? My dad is looking for one to do junk art. His shop is only wired for 110v . I have never used a plasma cutter and sure dont have a clue which ones are decent and which are junk? What's the thickest metal a 110v unit will cut?

bang for the buck, you can't beat the Parker Metalworking ones..... 1/3 the $$$ of Hypertherms, Millers, etc..... been beating the snot out of mine for like 8 yr's now.. mineis the older 220 only unit, but it's discontinued and the new one is dual voltage... 40, or 50 amp....

For junk art I would go with a more mainstream brand. My Parker works awesome on clean metal but on paint or rust, its not so happy. I bet 110 versions are gonna be quality cut to 3/16" sever cut 1/4"
