Plastic Frame Guards?

I recently saw a rusted out 88 k5 with plastic frame rails that had cut outs for shocks and steering arm. It popped into holes in frame like the plastic hood insulator retainers. I never seen one before. Does anybody know what it's called and where I can get one? I took snapshots..I looked on Lmc. Nothing.. Thank u

Sounds like you saw the soft splash guards that are attached to the inner fenders.

LMC calls them "splash shields", see the bottom of page 13 in their online catalog.
