So my dad and I go down to Wynoka OK pretty often with the Quads. How ever they made it to were unless its a 2up wheeler you cant ride 2 up. Im not gonna get a Foreman or something like that when i already have a TRX450 and a TRX700. What tire would do ok out in the sand without having to get paddels as well as playing on some trails. Im just thinking paddels are just gonna be to much traction out there with a 350. I see a bunch of buggys and VW abominations but they all have paddels. Wish I had a picture of a new ford FX4 that rolled down a dune, I dont think a single peice was still intact:haha: Was on buttercup for those that know the area.

(Edit me and my dad dont ride together but with the wifey)

super swamper has an all terrain thats made for the sand but you cant beat a BFG all terrain. they perform well all around. stay away from aggressive tread as it will only dig

Now that you say that My dad used to have a big 4x4 4 door rig that we would take to the beach all the time it had the BFG's and we never got stuck and on top of that would pull people out on them.

He's asking about a quad tire it sounds like. Any good dirt tire will do ok in the sand. It will NEVER touch a paddle though. Get a second set of rims and mount paddles on them. Having two sets of tires is the best way to go. Takes 5 mins to change wheels. Why not post this in a ATV forum?? More experience there.

yea its not very clear, the second half off the paragraph talks about a truck so.....:confused::doah:

If you are talking truck then BFG's are awsome. Run like 12-14 lbs for optimal traction. I learned the hard way that super swampers get hela traction......problem is is just straight down. I agree with dfl701

for the truck i would use a bfg at for sand ....i got em on my sand wheels and when i was on the fire department in gulf shores , al we ran them on our support trucks for the sand when we had to go on the beach when parents would'nt watch thier kids and loose em in the crowds (all the damn time)

BFG is good, but a Dick Cepek Fun Country is a better tire for sand. My 2 cents.
