The truck did awesome on the sand. Let out no air pressure, and road around all week in 2wd. Others were getting stuck in 4wd near the exits off the beach. Pulled out a couple of other guys but did not have the camera with me. The fisrt run was in 4lo and let the tranny shift on its own. The second was 4lo and I shifted it. I should have done a couple in high too. I wanted to shock the front shaft a couple of times to get the scare of it breaking out of me.http://www.youtube.com/bdmanrz1

BDAMNRZ: Nice rig, sounds great. You just may have the answer I'm looking for (searched for months now): Just got my 14bff sitting in garage waiting to clean it up etc. I've got 5 real nice MT Classic II's in 15X10 6 lug but can't for the life of me find any place that sells a 15X10 or 12 in 8 lug wheels like our MT II's or even another brand like an Eagle Alloy. Where did you get your 8 lugs that have bling to them rather than steel wagon wheels? How much $$$, if you don't mind me asking? Any info would be very helpful.

Sorry about the profile. That is a fu^&%$k up. They are in fact 16.5x12 MT II's. I'll change that. I got them from National Tire and Wheel in Wheeling, WV. Drove all the way there and picked them up, mounted and balanced. That was two years ago and the receipt is long gone. I want to say around $160.00 per wheel. That may be off, but I don't remember them being too pricey. And the 406ci is a stock 400 taken 30 over. One can be made with a 350 crank and the rods to match. Or you can do what I did and take the 400 30 over find the rod you want (mine are 5.7") and get a crank with the appropriate stroke to match your final deck height and given head comb. I'm running an EAGLE crank that has a stroke designed to use a 5.7" rod. With a flat top piston, and a 64cc chamber, leaves me at about 11:1 comp. Here's the rest. Ported double humps 2.02/1.60 stainless valves. Studs and guide plates.Comp 292h cam (hyd. 244dur. @.500/501 lift. 1.5 Roller RockersEdelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap. Holley 670 Double Pumber (it sucks, and it's way too small) MSD 6A, HEI distr., 22* initial timing, 34* total all in by 2500rpm ACCELL Coil, ACCELL 8.8 wires and one really ugly set of too small headers!:thumb: :usaflag:

Damn! Damn! Damn! I am at my whits-end trying to find something like a Classic II wheel that is polished in 15X10 or 12 in 8 lug. I don't like all that rock crawler crap in steel or even cheapie chrome spokes. Any ideas fellas. I almost don't want to put my 14bff in if I can't find a wheel like this. My 35" BFG's are only about 3 months old and I don't want to buy new ones.
