I have a very asked question, at least I am sure it is.

What all is involved in a 6 inch lift besides new springs?, what do I look out for drive line wise? steering wise? t-case wise?

1987 chevy shortbed going 6 inches, 14bff 10b 3/4tons, 35 inch mud trac.

New drive lines for sure,if money will permit crossover steering if not then at least a raised steering arm or dropped draglink,longer brakelines

Yep pretty much. youll need shocks, brakelines, raised steering arm, most likely going to need drivelines, everything else shold be allright.

lines = hoses

might as well go braided since you wont find any stock ones at local store that will be long enough i bet

or have them made at napa or some hydraulic shop

would be surprised what a body lift and tires can do to lift a truck, after that wont really need much suspension lift, can save some $ that way, but then youd have to modify bumpers, roll pans

good luck
