Please HELP! 88 K-5 inner rocker panels.

I have a 88 full size K-5 that I need to replace the inner rocker backings and outer rockers. The problem is that the inner backings are completely gone (rusted) and I can't figure out how the replacement fits in . I have partial and complete replacemt parts for the d/s in hand and still no luck. Can anyone help me?

on my 87 3/4 ton i'm doing i just left the inner off. i don't think it'll hurt anything. unless you want a show truck

Weld in box tube and never have to worry about that part of the truck again...

what points did you weld to? i bought some 3x3 a long time ago just haven't put them in.

ok...where can i buy these and will i still be able to mount my bully sidesteps that mount to frame and rocker?
