I bought a rebuilt tranny and when i went to put it in i noiced that the adapter splines are wore out and i can find any place to get a used or new one.please help

You mean the coupler?
I believe you can still find the coupler in parts stores or the dealer.
The adapter is going to be a little more expensive since they don't.
The adapter can still be bought at some of the specialty places like ORD and some others for $$$$

i found that adapter
I found that adapter off of craigslist 80 bucks i finished my truck last night.the only diffirence between the adapters is mine has a bearing and a big c clip on the coupler so it stays in the adapter and the other one has no bearing just the coupler and the two seals.wierd it works fine though
