so im workin on my 92 toyota pickup and im replacin the pickup coil and removed the distributor in order to do so. unfortunitally i rotated my engine while the distributor was off and now it wont start up again. im tryin to figure out how to get it back to the correct timing to get it started again. any help will greatly be appreciated! thanks

take out the number one spark plug and get the engine at TDC of the compression stroke then point the rotor at #1 on the cap and that should get you close enough to start it then use a timing light to get it right

heh.. i use a wad of paper, and jam it in the number one spark plug hole.. then turn the engine over, till it shoots out.. kind fun too ;P
