please help me with winaldl

For the past several months i have been trying to get the rig done, but the computer is the whole problem. I have the software, laptop, and cable that i made, but i just can't get any information off of Winaldl or Tuner Pro R/T. Can some please please help me.

An outside chance, but if you used the diagram online to wire up the DB9 connector (think thats right, the one to serial port) the diagram floating around is "wrong".

The numbering of the pins is right, but if you look at the connector itself, then the diagram, you'll notice the pins on the diagram don't match the ones on the connector. Just make sure the diagram you used to build the cables has the wires going to the right # pin on YOUR cable.
