Ok guys, heres the situation. Blew up a power steering pump, Replaced pump with a remaned unit and the truck felt fine for a few miles. Started to loose steering and fluid would airate and overflow. Heres a list of whats been done

New Pump, Hydroboost pump with NON hydroboost aplication =more pressure and better steering. fitting on pump is drilled out just a tad (not more than 5/32) for more volume.

New Lines with NEW o-rings

I rebuilt the Box, all new bearings and seals.

This thing will turn awesome the first time you fire it and no throttle, but as soon as you give it ANY throttle or pressure it airates and steering goes to crap. I plan to do hydro assist in the next month and want to get this straightened out first. PLEASE HELP.... Thanks

Stupid question, but did you bleed the air out first?

All air was bled out per the instructions of ATSCO, Fluid level does not change when I turn the wheel back and forth. Is it possible there is a problem in the box when i give it throttle while turning its just leaking by the sealing rings??

Not sure what ATSCO said about bleeding, I would put it on stands and steer it to and fro w/o the pump spinning. If you did it that way, 3-4 times, it could be an internal bypass issue in the box or pump. Maybe a cut seal in the box putting it back together. Have fun, I'm pulling my pump off the K5 in, oh, five minutes...

Fun part is I know exactly which wrenches and sockets to grab to pull the pump off. Every time I take it off and put it on i get faster and faster. Going to try out another box tonight and see if that fixes it.. Thanks..
