If you are unable to tune the carb properly yourself, take it to someone (Shop) that can. I personally reather pay a shop to tune it then buy a new carb.

I think I have all the other linkage accesories i need just need to spend the time to get them all on correctly. I should have time to get it done tommorow. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I did do that and that wasn't the problem! The problem was holley kept sending me crap carbs! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
 
What altitude are you at? Had the same problem with a different engine/carb combo, at about 4000 feet. Advanced the timing about 4 degrees over spec, that helped a bunch. May hafta experiment here, unless you find a different cause for it? Just a thought.......

Definately! /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif I think its time to try Rattle snake and constrictor. I already have plans to take a trip to Huntington over fathers day weekend!

There's a couple of us going to American Fork Canyon this weekend. If I get a spare shaft for my 12b I'll be going.
